Narahenpita Residence

Architecture - 2015

A quaint house of 2 levels on seven perches land with extremely contemporary design elements. The house has a central hard landscaped courtyard with a vertical garden, which brings in light and a sense of nature into the residence. The interior furnishing and finishes along with the exterior structure are kept linear and modern in shape.

The residence consists of 2 bedrooms, entertainment room, living, dining and pantry spaces. The concept of courtyards are used as natural breakers in between the spaces which provides cross ventilation. The neutral white theme gives an overall spacious appearance. Off white matt finished marble tiled floors, natural white wall finish and white specular corian counter tops are to name a few. Privacy is provided by the use of vertical 6 millimetre white powder coated metal rods, which are embedded to the full-length glazed windows giving a chic look to the façade of the house.
