Residing on the west coast of Sri Lanka, the dual-level luxury villa is a U-shaped plan. The residence comprises of 5 spacious bedrooms, vast indoor living, and dining which spills over to decked outdoor living and dining spaces. The solid built areas are surrounded by lush greenery whilst wrapping around the 30 m linear pool. The water body acts as a calming divider between the living and dining spaces.
Luscious green gardens are provided on both floor levels creating niche break-away pods. While the ground floor has fully glazed floor-to-ceiling sliding windows, the 1st-floor level is enclosed with sliding timber trellis panels which highlight the upper floor adding a sense of privacy to the intimate dwelling spaces.
The timber flooring is given a walnut stain, whilst a natural stone Travertine border is introduced creating a subtle walk path throughout the residence. The grand living space is given an open double-height, where the informal family room overlooks the ground floor level providing visual connections.
Rather interesting elements that are introduced to this project are the Entertainment spaces, which comprise of small-scale football court, basketball court, and indoor games pavilion with a pool table and others.
